Rocket Travel 2024 Trend Report
Role:
Senior Brand Designer
Tools:
Figma + Illustrator + Photoshop
The Opportunity
With a goal of showcasing our industry knowledge, as well as drawing in some leads for business opportunities, we released our 2024 Trend Report on all things related to our business in the travel tech space. I was fortunate enough to work closely with our content strategist, who did an amazing job pulling this report together. My role was taking this from a word doc, to what we see in the final PDF that was distributed. It was definitely a great run through some editorial design.
The Process
With this report, I wanted to make sure that I wasn’t over-designing, or creating visuals that were going to take away form our stellar content. The goal was to create something on brand and engaging enough to keep readers, well, reading. The challenge here, was that we had constant updates coming through from various stakeholders in leadership roles (rightfully so on a larger content piece such as this one). Recognizing that this was likely going to happen, I pieced together a rough idea of what I wanted to do and started pulling a mini library of imagery. The fact of the matter was, as soon as we had final sign off, this thing was going to need to come together fairly quickly. Having all of these pieces laid out in Figma, allowed me to be agile, flowing everything in and make adjustments before sharing back with the team.
The Result
We placed this article on our website blog behind a download pop-up and the juice was well worth the squeeze on this one. We recorded the highest number of downloads we had ever received, also meaning that leads of all magnitudes were flying in. I also worked with our talented email marketing associate to get an updated email journey for all of these incoming leads. I was able to provide design for each of the email touch points that they would receive after providing their email. I was also able to design out a set of ads that we dropped on LinkedIn driving more traffic and awareness to the report. Overall, our team got a lot done relatively quickly to get this live.
